For the third year in a row, Staebler Insurance and their staff-run Charity & Community Involvement Committee donated to the Salvation Army’s Toy Mountain campaign, and appeared on CTV Kitchener’s newscast on November 20.

Beginning with Staebler’s sesquicentennial year in 2023, our organization has proudly continued to support the Salvation Army and help ensure every child in Waterloo Region will have a present to open on Christmas morning.

“It just feels good to give back to the community,” said Cindy May, Team Leader and Broker, Personal Solutions. “Staebler’s has been in the community of Kitchener-Waterloo for [over] 151 years, so they give us the money and we just get a chance to go and do some shopping and bring you guys the toys!”

This year, Staebler Insurance earmarked over $2,500 for shopping trips to help make this significant donation to Toy Mountain.

In the spirit of the holiday season, and if you’re able, Staebler Insurance is encouraging you to get involved too.

To simplify the process, there are more ways than ever to help, including:

• Texting ‘KIDS’ to 30333 to instantly make a $10 donation
• Dropping off a new, unwrapped toy at the participating locations listed below
• Donating directly to the Salvation Army

More toy drop-off locations have been added in 2025:

• All Canadian Tire locations in Kitchener, Waterloo, Cambridge, Guelph, and Elmira
• Goemans Appliances in Kitchener (4585 King Street East)
• The Cora Group at evolv1 building in Waterloo (420 Wes Graham Way)

The planned finale date for Toy Mountain is December 17.
