Ready or not, March Break is here and for those looking for fun activities for the whole family to enjoy, we’re here to provide some fun options with something for everyone!

Check out our top five picks for March Break activities in the Waterloo Region:

1) Bingemans’ Dinosaur Walk Thru
The Dinosaurs have returned to Bingeman’s just in time for March Break! Walk thru an even bigger and better journey this year with plenty of lifelike roaring dinosaurs up to 30 feet tall. Tickets start at $9.95 per person and can be purchased here.

2) Scenic Winter Heritage Train Rides
This scenic winter train ride is fun for passengers of all ages! The round-trip journey begins at either the Waterloo Northfield Station or the St. Jacob’s Farmers Market Station and features captivating wide-open views of the countryside and nearby Mennonite farms. Buy your tickets here.

3) The Cambridge Butterfly Conservatory
Featuring thousands of free-flying butterflies, as well as a variety of tropical plants, birds and animals, the Butterfly Conservatory has something for everyone! Wander through their tropical garden, grab lunch at their café, and browse their galleries of insects. Timed tickets purchased in advance are recommended and can be bought online.

4) Cineplex Movies for $2.99
Cineplex is showing Family Favourites on Saturday mornings for only $2.99 per ticket. A great opportunity to catch up on missed new releases and family classics. Their Family Favourites for the March Break are Black Adam on March 11th and PAW Patrol: The Movie on March 18th. Check your local Cineplex theatre for tickets and showtimes.

5) Paint THEMUSEUM Green
Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with Irish storytelling, St. Patrick’s Day themed activities, and Irish dancing. This all-ages event invites the whole family to celebrate with THEMUSEUM on March 17th at the Conrad Centre for the Performing Arts from 10:00 am- 12:00 pm. Tickets are available online.
