Spending time on the water, enjoying the outdoors, and soaking in sunshine at the cottage – that’s how Debbie likes to wind down. She also loves to build and create things.  Hand her a new recipe or material for a DIY project and she’ll get right to work. In fact, her and her husband built their cottage themselves; everything from swinging the hammers to installing the drywall. Amazing!

Professionally, Debbie previously worked as an armoured car guard. But after becoming a parent, her priorities changed and she sought a new, safer career. Her husband, already in the industry, suggested getting into insurance with him. She earned her RIBO (Registered Insurance Broker of Ontario) licence and has earned her CAIB (Canadian Accredited Insurance Broker) designation. After more than 25 years working in the industry on both personal and commercial accounts, Debbie still loves the challenge of problem solving and providing excellent customer service.
