What is Student Accident Insurance?
Protect Your Most Treasured Person
Staebler Insurance is proud to be the exclusive broker of Student Accident Insurance for the Waterloo Region District School Board, the Bruce-Grey Catholic District School Board, and many local private schools.
Student Accident Insurance, offered through Old Republic Canada, provides you with benefits that are typically not available through your group or private plan. The aim is to protect your family from catastrophic situations that could potentially ruin financial security.
Here are 5 simple reasons you should invest in Student Accident Insurance:
- Sports facilities, schools, and homes are associated with 4 out of 5 (80%) serious injuries experienced amongst youth(1)
- About 1 in 10 Canadian youth report being diagnosed with a concussion in the past year, with most of these concussions occurring while participating in sports(2)
- Giving families options. You can choose from one of three plans: Platinum, Gold and Silver, offering a variety of benefits at affordable prices (see details below)
- Family discount rates are available when signing up three or more children
- The school board does not provide coverage for accidents occurring during school activities. Having benefits in place helps protect your family from unexpected costs in the event of accidents during school activities
