From one generation to the next, Staebler Insurance is prepared to transition to the next set of Philpotts. On December 31, Kim and Stephen Philpott will officially retire from our brokerage.

Stephen was at the helm as President of Staebler Insurance from 1995 through 2006. In 2007, Stephen moved into the role of Chairman and the mantle of President then passed to Kim Philpott. It was under Kim and Stephen’s industrious leadership that Staebler Insurance grew into the stable, community-focused, and innovative brokerage that it is today.

Beginning January 1, 2019 a new leadership team will take over the brokerage and begin a third generation of Philpott ownership.

Joanna (Philpott) Mendonca will become the company’s eighth President and Russell Philpott will assume the role of Executive Vice President.

Other role changes to the executive team include:

– Anita Flootman-Paterson – Vice President, Commercial Solutions
– Janet Pagett – Vice President, Personal & Business Solutions
– Yolande Charest – Vice President, Finance

Please join us in bidding hearty congratulations to Kim and Stephen for a happy and healthy retirement!
