Russ is our Executive Vice President and he’s essentially been in the insurance industry his entire life. As part of the third generation of the Philpott family to own and operate Staebler Insurance, he’s been surrounded by insurance, and is a natural at leading our organization.

He officially began in the insurance industry in 2003 and has over 20 years of expertise across a wide range of clients’ sectors and industries. Upon graduation from York University in 2007, Russ began with Staebler as a Service Broker in Commercial Solutions. He’s since worked in many roles including Risk Placement, Operations Manager, and now as our Executive VP.

Russ brings a calm, cool, and collected perspective and solutions-based approach to clients and our organization. We’re very fortunate to have his leadership on our team as we continue to celebrate our 150th year in business!
