Waterloo Region is stronger after Camino Wellbeing + Mental Health unified the organizations of KW Counselling, Carizon Family and Community Services, and Monica Place. During a recent event to celebrate the unification, Staebler Insurance presented a donation.
Staebler’s Charity & Community Involvement Committee proudly donated $10,000 to help the new organization begin with a solid foundation of support. In addition, our insurer partner Economical Insurance added a $5,000 grant to strengthen the impact of this valuable organization.
Camino’s unification represents an important step to responding to the community’s increased mental health needs and amplifying the impact of wellbeing and mental health services throughout Waterloo Region.
As one organization, Camino is committed to:
- Improving services for our community
- Simplifying systems and using resources more effectively
- Expanding programs and services to serve more people
Their stated goal is to make it easier for people to access the right services at the right time.
