It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Lorne Edward Philpott on Friday March 6th, 2015 at the age of 85 years in Calgary, Alberta.

We remember Lorne with gratitude for leading us through many years of growth and prosperity. Lorne joined Staebler Insurance in 1963,  becoming President a few years later and retiring in 1995. Lorne was a well respected and influential leader and teacher in the industry. Among other things he served as President of RIBO and taught a number of insurance courses.  Lorne was dedicated and passionate about giving back to the community, participating in the Kiwanis Club, Rotary Club, and coaching little league baseball.

Remembered with fondness by your Staebler Family.
