Summer is around the corner and that means so are the fun festivals and events in and around Waterloo Region. Here are a few of our list of top local picks to keep you entertained all summer long!

1.Ribfest & Craft Beer Show

Make your way over to Victoria Park on July 19-21 to check out the 21st annual Ribfest & Craft Beer Show. With free admission and a fantastic selection of ribs, chicken, and Ontario craft-brewed beer, along with live entertainment and a Kids Fun Zone, this is an event you don’t want to miss! 2.Kitchener Blues Festival

Staebler Insurance is proud to once again be a sponsor of this incredible community event happening downtown Kitchener August 8-11. This year brings over 35 bands performing on 4 different stages throughout the festival and is sure to be an amazing time! 3.Canada Day Fireworks

Cities in Waterloo Region will once again be hosting festivities and fireworks in celebration of Canada Day this year. Cambridge will host celebrations and fireworks at Riverside Park, keep an eye on their website for all the details. Waterloo will be holding a community picnic and art market followed by a drone show at Waterloo Park with a full schedule available here. Kitchener will also be hosting Canada Day festivities at City Hall with a concert and fireworks, find all of the details on their website: Canada Day – City of Kitchener

4.Team Legacy Spring Open Car Show

Calling all car enthusiasts! Join Staebler Insurance at this year’s Spring Open Car Show this Saturday (June 8, 12-5 pm) at Graffiti Market in Kitchener. The event is free to attend and there will be lots of great swag, a 50/50 draw for charity, and lots of prizes to be won. This year, the Spring Open supports Scotland’s Yard, an initiative inspired by Scotland, a young cancer survivor, aimed at enhancing care for children with cancer and other serious illnesses. It’s a great day out for the whole family. We hope to see you there!

5.City of Kitchener Neighbours Day

Neighbours Day is a city-wide porch party! Come on out on June 15 and enjoy a great day of pop-up concerts all over Kitchener where local musicians will showcase their talents. From porches to driveways, front lawns to boulevards, you are invited to join in the fun and all you need to bring is yourself and a lawn chair. This event is free, and no registration is required.
