Earlier this month, Staebler Insurance hosted its first-ever Charity Golf Classic in support of The Food Bank of Waterloo Region.
The two-time host of the Canadian Open, TPC Toronto at Osprey Valley in Caledon, ON, provided the backdrop for a full day of challenging golf, fun, and new connections.
More than 100 golfers and sponsors gathered on Sept. 1 to enjoy a round of golf and more important help raise funds for a major pillar organization in our shared community. Thank you to everyone who took the time to join us and help contribute to the cause.
The success of the tournament led to an overall donation of $10,000. The Food Bank of Waterloo Region says that it can provide 20,000 meals to those who need them.
“We are delighted by the response and impact from so many leaders in our community,” said President, Staebler Insurance and tournament organizer Joanna Mendonca. “People really stepped up and helped Staebler provide this significant gift to The Food Bank!”
Plans are underway for a second Staebler Insurance Charity Golf Classic in 2027. Stay tuned to Staebler’s website and social media channels for updates.
